The Lost Kitten Story

A kitten falls from the ceiling last night because a predator tried to eat the kittens. The mother cat protects and fights fiercely against the unknown predator. I just heard them fighting in the roof top.

One baby cat falls and I saw it dragging itself on the bathroom floor. I assumed the baby cat is at least a week old or less. It cannot open its cute little eyes, it cannot crawl, and its legs are too weak to exert a force. At first, I just left it where it lays and went back to sleep. I was thinking that the mother cat will rescue it, but sadly the queen did not find a way to get in the bathroom. When I woke up around 4 AM and see it's still there, I grabbed it and put it outside. I was hoping that the mother cat will come to the rescue. I even tried to sound like a cat and called, 'meow, meow' but the mother cat did not hear me, or maybe she was busy protecting her kittens. Every time I say, 'meow meow' the baby cat will answer with its cute 'meow' sound calling for help. The mother cat did not arrived to fetch the lost kitten. Until I decided to just go back to sleep. I just left it under the sink and goes back to sleep, while praying that the mother cat will find the baby cat before the predator finds it.

In the morning, my brother feeds the cat. The mother cat noticed her lost kitten and carried her baby to where she keep the other kittens safe in another new place away from detractors and predators.

Those cats were not ours, but stray cats. We don't keep them as pet, but we feed them foods outside our home especially when they need it the most.

Baby cat is a lost kitten.
This is not the actual photo of the baby cat. I forgot to take the picture and I don't have camera, only smartphone with camera.
